Ride Leaders... Milanator is leading this ride

Mystery road getaway to paradise - no planned route, no pre-ride, not even a specific direction.   Just rolling along on the open roads using a compass heading and a late lunch stop destination planned (Paradise Landing near Balsam Lake).  This mystery ride will take us thru Wisconsin back roads wherever my front wheel rolls so I take no credit for construction detours or gravel stretches.

NOTE: gravel roads will only be driven if the other end can be seen, and you may get some practice making U-turns.

Description of ride: See Above

Mystery road getaway to Paradise - no pre-planned route; just adlibbing it as we roll along on the open roads using a dynamic compass heading towards a planned late lunch stop destination on the map.  This mystery ride will navigate randomly on several stretches of favorite Wisconsin back roads, riding wherever my front wheel rolls, whereas I take no credit for condition of said roads, construction detours, or gravel roads between stretches.
NOTE: gravel roads/stretches will only be driven if the other end can be seen, or I'm familiar with that stretch, and you may get some practice making U-turns.

Description of ride: Mystery Ride Getaway to Paradise - a fun-filled holiday weekend day of cruising around
Start place: McDonalds on Hwy 61 in White Bear Lake (click here for map)
Breakfast time: Around 8:00 am or so
Depart time: Around 9:00 am or so
Lunch stop: 2:00 pm or shortly thereafter at Paradise Landing (very nice place - bring your appetites)
Ride level: Not too intense, just spirited enough - depends on the participants
Ride Pace: Not overly aggressive, just brisk enough - again, depends on the participants
Rough Mileage: 240 to 290??? - don't really know exactly until we're finished hitting the pavement
End time: Around 5:30 or so
End stop: Perhaps somewhere in Washington County - maybe Meisters???
Ride leader: Milanator (The Big EZ)

A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Maybe.  I'll know more about my schedule by Friday.  If not this one, I'll certainly try for a few of the others before the end of the season!
