Ride Leader... Bob Milius - rpm

Description of ride:
   MN River & Lakes

This will be a short ride down along the MN River, stopping at Whiskey River in St Peter for lunch. From there, we'll head east and into the lake country near Elysian and Fairbault, and then head back north to home.

Although I've been on some of these roads before, I won't be doing a pre-ride so I can't vouch for their condition and so I present this disclaimer...

This ride is a natural product made from a combination of recycled routes and new roads. The variations in road conditions (e.g., gravel) and directions (e.g., u-turns) enhance its individual character and beauty and in no way are to be considered flaws or defects.

Start place:
   Old Country Buffet
   Cobblestone Court
   14150 Nicollet Avenue South
   Burnsville, MN 55337

NE corner of 35W and Cty Rd 42

Depart time:
   10:00AM - kickstands up

Lunch stop:
   Whiskey River in St Peter

Ride level:
   Intermediate

   Intermediate

   about 200 miles

I too love the disclaimer.  I've come to discover that pretty much any ride that is not led by me is a good ride...so assuming the weather is good, you'll see me and my dirty bike on Saturday.

Thanks to all to rode today! Six bikes and seven riders, including Boom Boom, Kactus, Windrider, Grumpy, and MandM. Special thanks to Boom Boom and Kactus for winging and tailgunning. 171 miles in the fog, under the clouds, and in the sun!

Great ride Bob.  The road selection was great.  I especially liked the escort through the road construction which I'm sure was arranged in advance.   Grin

Aside from the bug that crawled under my sun glasses, LouAnn and I had a great time.

Bob!!! Thank you so much for a great ride!! Was awesome meeting MandM and his really cool side kick LouAnn!!
The weather started off a little funky, but quickly turned into perfect riding weather!
Loved the "eye candy" that you provided with the construction workers!!! Thank you, Thank you!! smitten
Was fun chasing the guys around through the twisties and sweeps!
Hope to do it again soon!
