thumbsup  KAKTUS and WindRider are planning on this ride providing no rain. It's about 45min to an hour ride for us. What time will you be posting a go or no go?

It appears that the impeding rain moving onto our door step may compromise the enjoyment of a ride on Saturday.  We will wait and see if the weather predictions hold true.  Therefore pursuant to SCRC protocol, I will need to wait until no less than two hours before the scheduled ride to decide, and post, any cancellations or postponements.  So stay tuned and look for updates around 7:30 AM Saturday morning.

However, I will attempt a 2nd try on Sunday the 25th if the weather appears to be moving on.  I will post a separate posting for this alternate date to make it very clear if this will occur.  Now keep in mind that due to the likelyhood of OCB being a very popular eating place on Sunday mornings, I will elect to move the starting location to an alternate location, and at a later start time, to somewhere in the SE metro area.  This will all be posted on Sunday morning by 7:30 if a ride looks possible.  So again, stay tuned for possible details.

But hold the phone!  If Sunday also appears to be an unfavorable weather day for a ride, it appears that the open May 1st ride date is still available, and at this time, I think I have the blessing from the club Officers to grab that date in order to reschedule the same ride, just one week later. thumbsup

To All,

I just watched the weather and saw the radar loop with rain moving in this morning, and the forecast calls for wave after wave of rain impacting the entire route today, so regretfully I hereby cancel the scheduled ride for today. badmood lightning

Lonedog expressed interest in meeting for breakfast.  I will not be making it to breakfast, but if others want to join Lonedog at the Burnsville OCB, reply back to see if there is more interest from others.

It looks like the same for Sunday morning. we'll see if it promises dry weather. crossfingers

Stay tuned for updates.

Got my ride in for the day,   2funny  14 miles door to door. My place to Saint Paul Harley and back . The ride up their at 8:30 was a b#tch,  :rain1:
One thing that should be reminded to everybody is that when you come up on a stop sign stay to the left or the right of the center of the road !!!!!!!  Even when its dry  all the oil, antifreeze etc. coming off cars and trucks as they wait to move makes the center slippery.  buck2
Add rain and you could get yourself in a bad situation....slide thru a stop sign, been there done that.  ack

Oh yeah, how right you are!  I've done that with Debbie on the back and accidently hit the wet cross walk paint after sliding onto it.  Oh boy, not good, very bad on my part! banging 1
